Christmas Party....

Last night we had our annual Christmas Party on my Dads side. We also celebrated my grandmas 90th Birthday. She is just so cute and little and just going strong. We ate some yummy food and talked with everyone. My Uncle Steve was able to come down this year. It has been probably 4 years since I've seen him, and it was so nice to reconnect. He brought his significant other with him, Vicki. She is such a sweet lady, and we haven't seen him happier than he is. Here are just a few pics of our night...

Baby Easton Has Arrived

Black Friday was the day that our new nephew was brought into this world. Easton Owen Nielsen born around 7:53 a.m. Super Cute baby.. People say he looks like Braelyn but I don't see it yet. Mom and Baby are doing fine. Daddy is lovin not having to sleep on a chair. He gets a comfy pull out bed.. Congratulations, Rhett and Lindsey... We Love You!!!

TiS tHe SeAsOn...

WOW!!! How time does fly. I thought that I would update our blog since I am up late hours of the night and Mike is in Vegas for work. I can't believe Christmas is almost here. Time sure goes by quick right after Halloween.. I'm so excited for Thanksgiving and being able to spend time with family. I do wish that my brother Paul and his wife Jenny could come, but they won't be up here this year. Good and EXCITING NEWS.. My sister Lindsey is having her baby the day after Thanksgiving and I'm so excited for her and I'm so excited to meet the little guy. It's always fun having more and more nieces and nephews to add to the family. Not a lot has changed with Mike and I... We have been hanging out with his brother Ryan and his wife Jamey a lot. I just love hanging out with them, they are so much fun..

We are still living at my parents house and we're so Thankful for them for letting us stay here. I do have to tell something that I feel so bad for. Mike and I went out one night and I got a txt from my Dad.. It's not always the funnest to look at your phone and see a txt from your Dad. As I read on, it had said that our dog Chloe had chewed up his shoes and she no longer has an under bite. To me that wasn't very funny cause she has the cutest under bite in the world. So I was just thinking, "Great my Dad just killed my dog or messed her up royal".. Come to find out, it honestly wasn't that bad. So we decided that we would take the dogs everywhere we went from now on. One night I just asked my parents to watch them for just a couple min while we ran an errand and we come home, and she chewed up my shoes.. Hmmm I couldn't get mad at her, so I went and bought new ones. But I don't know if she just likes shoes or maybe my parents really can't watch them.. What do you think?

Anywho I think I'm off to bed. I'm going to get a pedicure with my sister and mom tomorrow and then I'm off to see TWILIGHT with Jamers.. I'm sooooo excited.

Weekend Fun!!

Halloween is always so much fun. Friday night a bunch of us went to Nightmare on 13th Haunted House, and before we went to dinner at La Puente..(Very Yummy) I hate Haunted Houses,I don't even know why I go. As we were getting there, they have these HUGE TALL people that walk around lookin all scary and everyone in the family knows that I get scared. So Ry and Jamey rode with Mike and I and I knew something was going to happen right when he pulled up. I locked the doors and kep my finger on it so you couldn't do anything, and I also put my finger on the window pusher downer thing ha ha. As we pull up Ryan rolls his window down and points to me.. I was freakin out. The guy starts coming soooo close to the truck I was in a panic.. They all got a good laugh but I was freaked. Saturday we go to Grandma Ames for chilli and homemade rolls that are to die for. We stayed for a couple hours and talked with family and came home and watched Dexter. We Are Dexter Fans. You watch 1 you'll watch em all.. Hope You All Had A Fantastic Halloween...

Date Night & Thriller....

I've been so busy I think...So I haven't been able to update this thing. I'm gonna try to be better at it. At least once a week. Anyway.. This last Thursday we took some people bowling. Mike and I had to set it all up because these certain people were too shy to ask one another out. I thought I would be a good idea to get them together. The girls mom on the other hand, was upset (kidding) that I told her daughter that this boy liked her, just so it wouldn't be awkward for them at church. The good friend I am spilled the beans. YUP that's right. I told the girl that he liked her and that we were going to hang out. We were going to go to a Haunted Corn Maze, but it wasn't Haunted on Thursdays so we had to think of something different. Bowling is always fun especially when you look funny doing it. We also set up our friends Kim and Dave. They had never met eachother before or even talked but at bowling it wasn't that awkward no talking thing, it was full on jokes. After bowling we went for Ice Cream, and drove about 4 miles to get one at Mcdonalds in a Wal-Mart ha ha Mike and I thought it wass pretty funny since there was a Mcdonalds in the parking lot at the bowling place. We ended up having a fun time and are planning something again.. Good Job Brandie and Jeremy.






On Saturday Mike and I went to Thriller with his Mom and Gary.. I had heard about it being here, but I wasn't sure exactly what it was. It ended up being really fun and hilarious at parts. Thanks Bobbie for talking it up to me :)... We went to dinner first at Su Casa. Way good Mexican Food and really fast. Mikes friend Beck met up with us at Thriller. He was on a first date with this girl he brought and they seemed to hit it off really well. The cool thing about this dance thingy, is that they have zombies come right up to you, crawl over seats and everything just to get in your face. It was a little freaky. We took a couple pics of some of the zombies but all in all it was so fun.

Just a little info on us. We are living at my parents house while we wait for this house we put a bid on. We got a new calling in the ward as Sunday School Teachers for the 14-16 year olds. It should be a lot of fun. We've never had a calling together, so it'll be a good time for us to read the lesson and help one another plan for it. Our families are doing good as well. Sunday we went to Ryan and Jameys house, Mikes brothers and watched the Cowboys game together. We enjoy hanging out with them, and Carson their son is super cute and so fun. We are going to hang out with them Friday so it should be fun. If I don't get on here til next week have a HAPPY HALLOWEEN..

Vacation Was Too Short

Well we have arrived back home. Our vacation came to an end, so sad. We arrived this morning at 8:30, driving all night with Ryan and Jamey. We were glad we got to see Chad and Becca down there for a day. Well, Mike and I had to leave early cause we got to see my brother Paul and sis in law Jenny. They took us to a Greek Festival down in Chino Hills,and then we went to a movie after. I am so glad we got to see them, it's been way to long. Anywho, our Vacation was awesome. Loved every bit of it. We had super HOT weather down there, and it was a SHOCK to come back home to FREEZING weather. Here is a couple pics from our trip. Enjoy
